DESCRIPTION
The David home cinema sofa is the result of a shared and ambitious project developed by Designers Castello Lagravinese Studio together with BertO's technical department and prototype laboratory. The goal? To go beyond the traditional boundaries of design, comfort and customization, to offer a furnishing experience that responds to the most evolved desires of people living in the home today.
In the cinema configuration, the modular system allows L.153.5 × D.175 cm elements to be placed side by side to create a wide, deep and comfortable seat.
The structure raised from the ground is designed to restore a sense of visual lightness: the elliptical feet, completely hidden, contribute to a suspended and essential aesthetic, in perfect harmony with the pure geometries of the project.
Among the most recognizable details is the armrest, which is available in two interpretations: a generous cushion in goose down or, alternatively, an elegant tray in natural oak. Both versions integrate a discreet and functional USB-C port, while the one with a wooden tray also offers a built-in wireless charger, to combine style and technology with absolute naturalness.
At the heart of David's comfort lies the unique seat cushion system: a precise combination of high-density polyurethane foam, memory foam and channeled goose down quilting. The result is a seat that provides support, coziness and calibrated softness. The backrest is also designed to adapt: available in single or double versions, it allows you to choose between a relaxed or more composed posture, simply by modulating the position of the cushions.
All internal elements are assembled without nails or staples. A technical choice that, together with the pre-tensioned and pre-calibrated straps, contributes to the product's durability and sustainability, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
Fully removable in both Space leather and Mars fabric variants, David is available in an exclusive palette designed to harmonize with the other proposals in the BertO Collection.

Frame and seat: tubular metal frame, with high-strength vertical and horizontal woven elastic straps, then padded with polyurethane foam in different densities.
Backrests: made of fire retardant polyurethane foam with tubular metal insert. Upholstery is made with down-filled cover.
Seat cushion: polyurethane foam padding in different densities, with upper quilting in channeled goose down.
Back cushion: padding in channeled goose down.
Armrest/tray: bronze-colored lacquered mdf leg and armrest made of wood panel covered with polyurethane foam and channeled goose down quilting, or veneered mdf tray and solid wood perimeter shaping.
Feet: painted 5-axle machined solid wood feet and ground support with gripping rubber.
Electronic components: The David sofa has two USB-C inputs built into the armrest bases. In the natural oak tray version, the armrest is equipped with a wireless charger.
Upholstery: fabric or leather with fully removable covers.
Comfort: Modular comfort that is as enveloping as a hug.
