DESCRIPTION
David is the result of a long process of research and development, conducted by the designers Castello Lagravinese Studio together with the technical department and prototype designers of Team BertO with the aim of redefining the concept of design, comfort and customization.
Made with cutting-edge materials and technologies, it stems from our Made in Meda spirit, a know-how that blends craftsmanship and innovation. Thanks to its modularity, it allows you to create the perfect configuration for your environment, combining linear elements, chaise longues and end pieces in order to adapt to every space and style requirement. You can choose it in the linear version-available in sizes 237, 267 or 307 cm-or compose it with chaise longue modules and end pieces to create a unique configuration perfectly tailored to your needs.
One of the most distinctive aspects is its visual lightness: the innovative structure completely conceals the feet, creating a suspended effect that enhances the elegance of its shapes.
David's armrest is a distinctive element that you can customize to suit your needs. Available in two versions, you can choose:
- A soft feather cushion, for soft and cozy support.
- A natural oak tray, ideal as a functional tabletop.
The David sofa is designed to offer you maximum functionality without compromise.
It has two USB-C ports built directly into the armrest bases, so you can always have charging for your devices. In the natural oak tray armrest version, it features a discreet and elegant wireless charger, combining design and practicality in one exclusive detail.
The seat is designed with an innovative combination of technical materials and channeled feathers to provide the perfect balance of coziness and support. The back cushions are available in two variants - single or double - offering two different interpretations of relaxation: a deep, reclining seat, ideal for maximum comfort, or a more recessed configuration that can be adjusted with a simple gesture, for more enveloping support.
David's structure is made with the BertO system, which eliminates the use of nails and staples, making each element removable and sustainable, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
David is fully removable, either in the fine Space leather or the elegant Mars fabric, offering maximum practicality without sacrificing style.
Each shade in the palette has been carefully selected to enhance the sofa's shapes and harmonize perfectly with the other creations in the BertO Collection.

Frame and seat: tubular metal frame, with high-strength vertical and horizontal woven elastic straps, then padded with polyurethane foam in different densities.
Backrests: made of fire retardant polyurethane foam with tubular metal insert. Upholstery is made with down-filled cover.
Seat cushions: polyurethane foam padding in different densities, with upper quilting in channeled goose down.
Back cushions: filled with channeled goose down.
Armrest/tray: bronze-colored lacquered mdf leg and armrest made of wood panel covered with polyurethane foam and channeled goose down quilting, or tray made of veneered mdf and solid wood perimeter shaping.
Feet: painted 5-axle machined solid wood feet and ground support with gripping rubber.
Electronic components: The David sofa has two USB-C inputs built into the armrest bases. In the natural oak tray version, the armrest is equipped with a wireless charger.
Upholstery: in fully removable fabric or leather.
Comfort: modular comfort that is as enveloping as a hug.
