NAOKO ARMCHAIR

The Naoko outdoor armchair was conceived to offer a perfect balance of softness, lightness, and comfort, and is designed to be easily moved.

It is filled with expanded polypropylene beads, which ensure both adaptability and support.

It stands out for a design approach that moves away from the traditional concept of the shapeless bean bag: the aim is, in fact, to give structure to what would normally have none.

The backrest, seat, and armrests emerge naturally, while still maintaining a high capacity to adapt to the body.
At the seat level, in addition to the polypropylene filling, a layer of draining rubber has been incorporated, specifically designed to enhance comfort.

Its form is the result of a delicate balance between freedom and control. The internal distribution of the fillings is carefully studied through chambers and proportions, ensuring comfort and stability without making the object rigid.

From a perceptual point of view, the Naoko armchair presents itself as a soft and welcoming presence, almost organic in nature. A sort of contemporary “nest” that subtly changes over time and through use, adapting to those who experience it without losing its own identity.

Primarily designed for outdoor use, it can also be used in informal indoor settings, bringing with it a freer and less conventional idea of comfort.
