DESCRIPTION
The Dee Dee sofa is an innovative seating system designed by the Castello Lagravinese Studio for BertO which re-writes the rules of design and comfort, undisputed protagonist of the BertO collection.
It is realised with the most sophisticated technology and is the result of collaboration between the Castello Lagravinese Studio and BertO’s research and development team, resulting in a unique blend of comfort, style, functionality and free design.
In the version proposed in the photograph, Dee Dee demonstrates the beauty of the project designed by the Castello Lagravinese Studio with essential elements such as the peninsula in the small version upholstered in lead grey coloured Douglas leather.
The peninsula allows you to enjoy the relaxing comfort of the extended seat or moments of conviviality thanks to the seat with a supporting backrest in polyurethane foam padded with high quality goose down.
The comfort of the stitching in the Dee Dee model is the result of an important study which today is the pride of BertO’s research and development team.
It is the ideal solution to the requirements of everyday life and the needs for functionality with total comfort.
The originality and welcoming comfort is due to the high level of technology with which it is produced: a sophisticated system of supports in polyurethane foam with differentiated densities and the softest goose-down guarantee that which we call “eternal comfort”.
The technological HOP headrest upholstered in quilted fabric offers two different concepts of comfort which can be either soft and embracing or more supporting according to each customers idea of relaxation.
The unique characteristic of the Dee Dee design is the unmistakable leather straps which encompass the armrests.
A perfect sartorial detail realised with the most exclusive leathers in the collection, these straps, handcrafted in the BertO workshop in Meda, allow you to realise your furnishing project with elegance, personality and originality.
In the version with the small peninsula in lead-grey coloured Douglas leather, Dee Dee is matched with the Hanna armchair upholstered in pumpkin coloured Dorian fabric from the BertO collection and the base is in solid walnut with a matt finish.
At the side and in front of the sofa are two coffee tables from the Circus collection with the round top in black Marquina marble and the base in solid, walnut tinted oak.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Structure: in profiled metal with high resistance vertically and horizontally woven elastic straps. The backrests and armrests have a steel frame covered in fire-resistant polyurethane foam. The frame is further covered with lining coupled with canvas. The structure is supported by a base in profiled metal assembled with steel locking screws.
Seat cushions: padding with inserts in polyurethane foam with different densities covered with quilted fabric padded with channelled goose-down.
Backrest cushions: padding in channelled goose-down with non-deformable polyurethane foam inserts.
Feet: sofa with feet in black embossed powdered steel height 15 cm.
Upholstery: in completely removable fabric. In the leather version the covers of the frame are not removable while the cushion covers are always removable.
