Google and Berto for Made in Italy

Made in Italy promoted by BertO and Google

Berto is one of the few companies chosen by Google to promote the Made in Italy label around the world and help Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) to approach their economic potential using the internet.
Made in Italy: Eccellenze in digitale is a project by the Google Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MiPAAF), the Chamber of commerce, the Università Ca’ Foscari, the Fondazione Symbola and The Espresso Group including la Repubblica.it a major daily newspaper.
There are two new digital platforms highlighting Italian excellence and the Made in Italy label: those well-known and the lesser known. In addition, the projects develop young people by giving them opportunities as promoters of the digital transition in the Italian economy:

The first platform - goole.it/madeinitaly – talks about the territory and Italian production with over 100 stories: videos, photos and interviews of artisans from SMEs of the Made in Italy label. Professor Stefano Micelli, also a promoter of the project aims to,
“help SMEs in new ways to promote value and find new ways of dealing with questions, referring to stories of the entrepreneurs, who in the past 10 years have been able to build pathways to success, internationalization, without ever losing sight of local roots."

The second platform - eccellenzeindigitale.it - provides concrete tools for Italian companies to approach the internet and its economic potential. In other words, Google does the training by sharing the stories and the merits of small and medium size entrepreneurs in Italy.

Inside of the many videos already in circulation, there is also the experience of Berto, a big supporter of SMEs who through their story telling ability about the upholstery industry in Meda and their constant communication of the “know-how" of the master artisan have gained as a result.
