Il Cittadino, a weekly newspaper in Monza and Brianza, dedicates an article to the meeting between BertO and Gaddo Della Gherardesca during his visit to the showroom in Meda for the realisation of a design project.
The realisation of this furnishing project was the beginning of an important relationship based on reciprocal esteem between the Made in Meda society and the CEO of The Good Life, the first Italian magazine to combine business and life-style. The conversation between the two continued with reflections on the state of the art of design and is reported on the BertoStory blog here.
The Italian brand continues to sell and it has great value. When we are able to re-open our activity, it is not true that Italy will be out of the game. The world is waiting for us, waiting to see what Italians will do.
Italian are much more highly considered abroad than we consider ourselves.
You don’t need to do anything other than that which you have always done.
This refers even more so to Meda. Made in Meda is a good brand and a play on words which creates a good meaning.
Meda can become an active monument, an “ashram” as the Indians say, a sanctuary dedicated to design.
Meda is like Chianti and Barolo, in the world of design.
Sharing important aspects of design, re-launching the territory and the vision of Made in Meda will be at the centre of new meetings between BertO and Gaddo Della Gherardesca.
