The newspaper Il Cittadino of Monza and Brianza publishes an article dedicated to BertO’s initiative of solidarity which describes the good actions of the society.
During the present health emergency, the hearts of the inhabitants of Brianza have opened towards the numerous hospitals and health structures which are active in the front line in the fight against Covid-19.
The journalist Chiara Pederzoli interviewed Filippo Berto and reported the words with which the society informed their customers, collaborators and suppliers about the initiatives they have taken.
"we looked around at the people who work with us and we made a decision: anyone who works on the market, whether a young freelance or a well established society, knows what it means to close. To stop earning. We are temporarily closing our stores.
To remain open means that we are inviting people into our showrooms and at the moment the right thing to do is to stay at home".
The activity of on-line consultancy has allowed many of our customers to re-plan the furnishing scheme in their homes with new designs, studied specifically to satisfy the new requirements which domestic life dictates.
But that is not all: until the end of the emergency, BertO will donate 5% of the proceeds of every sale on-line to the Fondazione Irccs Ca Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, a foundation committed to the fight against Covid-19.
