On 2nd September 2021, the editorial platform Pambianco Design published an article dedicated to Milan Design Week 2021 titled: “The fil rouge of ‘selectivity’ in the districts”.
Among the places to visit listed in the article we find LOM - Locanda Officina Monumentale, the majestic and scrupulous urban redevelopment project by the Andrea Borri Architetti studio.
LOM is a historic ex Milanese farmhouse located in Monumental district of Milan (at Via Galileo Ferraris, 1), a stone’s throw from the Monumental Cemetry of Milan and the ADI Museum.
In this amazing location there are artisan companies of the highest quality, whose goals are to encourage and accelerate the encounter between 4.0 technologies and the supply chain of artisan companies, through research, innovation, dialogue, and positioning the Italian tradition in the contemporary panorama of production.
We at BertO are taking part in this project with our BertO Studio, a permanent research laboratory dedicated to design, sustainability, and the transformation of living spaces.
If you would like, you can visit LOM during the whole Milan Design Week 2021 period.
