LOM opens its doors, an article by Corriere della Sera

The Corriere della Sera article about LOM - The artisan farmhouse 4.0

In the artisan farmhouse 4.0: this is the title of the article by Giacomo Valtolina, published today in the national newspaper Corriere della Sera about LOM, which yesterday evening - Wednesdaty 7th July 2021 - opened its doors to the public for the first time for the presentation of the book "Città prossime" by councillor Cristina Tajani.

But what exactly is LOM?

LOM (acronym for Locanda Officina Monumentale) is an urban redevelopment project, which bears the signatures of the professor of the Ca'Foscari University of Venice Stefano Micelli, the Fratelli Borri architecture firm, and the lawyer Alfredo Trotta.

The former Milanese farmhouse, renovated according to the highest levels of sustainability, has been transformed into a laboratory of urban manufacturing, where various companies experiment with avant-garde solutions in the fields of fashion and design.

Among these companies there is BertO, which in its room furnished with the most exclusive accessories of the Collection - including the armchair created in collaboration with Dyloan, another LOM company - has in mind the creation of a real laboratory to research new ways of living and designing rooms, thanks to collaborations with universities, polytechnics, architects, and clients.
