The German newspaper, The European - Das Debatten Magazine, reports in its article, "Unvaccinated Italians face a lonely Christmas" ( ==> read the original article: Italiens Ungeimpften droht ein einsames Weihnachten), the testimony of Filippo BertO - CEO BertO.
The article published on 30th November, written by journalist Andreas Kempf, talks about the Covid situation, vaccines, the harsh Green pass restrictions and regulations imposed by the government in Italy, comparing them with those in Germany.
Andreas Kempf writes in his article that the government has the trust of the majority of Italians despite the harsh restrictions.
In his interview, Filippo Berto says, "Everyone wants to get back to work and to put the difficult times behind them. Last year, production was suspended for six weeks. Our furniture stores in Italy were also closed for ten weeks."
In March 2020, Filippo Berto had anticipated the government's response to the serious health emergency caused by the spread of Covid-19, closing its showrooms and temporarily suspending its operations.
However, customers were not forgotten. BertO's interior designers continued to provide online consultancy services and even actively contributed to the fight against Covid-19 by donating 5% of sales proceeds.
In the article, Filippo Berto explains, "We were able to be there for our customers during the lockdown and grew the business again in 2020."
According to Andreas Kempf, author of the article, BertO is an exemplary driver of an online presence far beyond its own sector.
In fact, BertO was one of the first companies in the design and furniture sector in Italy to use the Internet to support its clients with their projects and to use it as a means of communication.
