The DAVID sofa has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2026

The DAVID sofa, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio for BertO, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2026, the annual publication showcasing the best Italian design projects chosen by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory.

DAVID embodies a new concept of comfort: its movable backrests allow users to adjust seat depth and support, while its 24 combinable modules offer configurations that adapt to different spaces and everyday needs.

Its fully disassemblable structure, integrated armrest technology, and the use of BertO Eco Seal Master – the bonding system that uses solvent-free adhesives – reflect a project in which design, research, durability, and the circular economy evolve together.

Being part of the ADI Design Index means joining a selection that recognises design as a driver of innovation, culture, and responsibility. For BertO, it represents further recognition of Made in Meda and its ability to advance traditional manufacturing through technological research.
