The BertO Case arrives in Korea!
On Friday 10 December Filippo Berto will be a guest at the Italy - Korea 2021 Economic Seminar organized by Unioncamere Lombardia. The seminar will be held at the Hotel Westin Palace at Piazza della Repubblica 20 in Milan.
This edition of the Italy - Korea 2021 Economic Seminar will focus on economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic, and on the multiple possibilities of cooperation between Italy and Korea.
CEO of BertO, Filippo Berto, and other experts from both countries, will discuss the current situation and future prospects in their respective fields of health, culture industry and economic exchanges.
The BertO case was chosen as a success story.
Indeed, the title of Filippo Berto's speech is "A success story: how a traditional Italian SME managed to adapt to new market conditions".
Founded in 1974 by brothers Fioravante and Carlo Berto, the small Medese artisan company has become a true example of digital entrepreneurship to follow (Google itself has chosen to promote BertO as a digitally advanced Italian company).
Under the leadership of Filippo Berto, BertO was one of the first companies in Italy's design and furniture sector to use the internet to help customers all over the world fulfil their furniture projects, communicating with them and presenting itself through the #BertoStory corporate blog (launched in 2004).
The company's capacity for continual evolution has enabled it to adapt and thrive even in difficult times like this.
Indeed, although the BertO showrooms remained closed during the first phase of the pandemic, the interior designers continued to work with customers by providing online consultancy services developed over twenty years of experience.
BertO even actively contributed to the fight against Covid-19 by donating 5% of the proceeds from its online sales of that period.
The BertO Case Study has been presented at the most prestigious Universities and Conferences; thanks to this seminar, on the 10th it will be presented in Korea too!
