The sofa Meda in the magazine INTERNI

Meda is the new convertible sofa designed by Giulio Iacchetti for InternoItaliano and produced by BertO: it was the main protagonist of the last edition of FuoriSalone in Milan.

Right on this occasion Guido Musante publishes an article for the magazine INTERNI, at the newsstand during May, and defines the sofa Meda “a new chapter of the experimentation carried out by Giulio Iacchetti that regards the relation between designers and artisans”.
The sofa Meda represents the last action that involves the designer and the relation between objects and people.

This relation will get more value especially when people interpret objects and their use in an unconventional way, exactly as children do. Meda is made of a wooden frame with different element at the inside: seats, backrests and armrests.

By combining these elements it is possible to get an uncountable number of compositions, included the one that may turn the sofa Meda into a single sofa bed.

Meda is one of the new products of the BertO Collection.
Like all other models produced by our Fine Upholstery Tailoring Atelier, even the sofa Meda is custom made available as for covers, details and finishing.
