The project SOFA4MANHATTAN has become a collection.
During Milans’ Design Week 2015, Berto together with Design-Apart presented the evolution of their crowdcrafting project held in New York City of last year. The projects focus included: new padded elements, new backs, new legs and bases that can be produced in an almost infinite composition of modular extensions.
The original prototype illustrates a rich and complex project, in Berto style that can be described as; where peace and relaxation are in the forefront. Not to mention, customized comfort and detailing from material selection to the tailored seams.
The collection SOFA4MANHATTAN best interprets the desire to live comfortably, in New York or in Milan.
